1/11/2017 0 Comments {FULL} vs FillEyelash extensions are similar to fake nails in many ways. If you get fake nails, you need to get them filled every so often depending on the growth rate of your natural nails. It's the same with Eyelash Extensions. The artist applies a {4-LAYERED APPROACH} to give you the longest retention possible, but due to your natural hair cycle; you will need fills! A FILL is defined (by Amplify) as any lash appointment that meets both: 1. At least 1/3 to 1/2 of your previous extensions are still in place, and 2. It has been less than 22 days since your last appointment. If you do not meet both, you are no longer considered a 'FILL' appointment; you are now considered a 'FULL' appt. With this in mind, make your next appointment to Fill before you leave your current lash appointment- and stick to it! :) A FULL (new) lashing is an amazing transformation and consistent FILLs or 'relashing' is the best way to maintain. In my experience, I have seen many clients come in for their fills with LONGER, HEALTHIER natural lashes than before! It's because they are consistent and they do not PICK at their glue line. The longer the lashes, the longer the extensions we can place on them. (This is a stark difference from getting nails done where your nails first must be textured to allow for better glue adhesion. That texturing can wear down and ruin natural nails)<-- That was a tangent thought, but also very useful to know as a client!! We write this post thinking from a client's perspective. FILLs are far LESS expensive and time-consuming than FULLs. Save yourself time and money by remaining consistent to the upkeep!
